Title: Sales Associate - ReStore
Reports to: Manager and Assistant Managers- ReStore
Direct Reports: Volunteers in a wide variety of in-store positions
Summary: The Associate of the Habitat ReStore is responsible for ensuring that all sales and donation receiving activities run smoothly and efficiently by working alongside volunteers, that the ReStore is providing superior customer service, and that the ReStore is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Volunteer management in coordination with manager and assistant managers.
- Ensure quality customer and donor relations, and address comments and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee and maintain daily and weekly volunteer task assignments.
- Provide training, supervision of volunteers in a positive and affirming manner.
- Display merchandise and utilize store signage in a way that maximizes sales, while ensuring that all materials are priced accurately when they are displayed on the sales floor.
- Ensure that in-store volunteers are trained, and volunteer procedure manuals and training materials are up-to-date.
- Ensure the proper evaluation of the condition/acceptability of incoming donations.
- Coordinate the flow of incoming materials to the store.
- Implement and enforce pricing guidelines by monitoring competitive merchandise market environments.
- Ensure that price audits are conducted on a routine basis, and that stale items are re-priced or removed.
- In coordination with the Manager and Assistant Managers, develop and manage in-store events (sales, forums, etc).
- Continually improve the overall appearance of the ReStore and store operations to maximize efficiencies.
- Ensure that all areas of the store and surrounding areas are clean and safe
- Ensure that all safety procedures are adhered to by volunteers, and that we present the safest possible environment for customers, donors, and personnel.
- Performs all necessary duties and assumes responsibility in the absence of the manger or assistant managers.
- Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds
Out of store
Responsibilities:
- Drive box truck for deliveries and pickups.
- Perform deconstruction duties.
- Perform Manager or Assistant Manager deconstruction job site instructions in a professional and safe manner
- Manage and coordinate deconstruction site volunteers to reclaim products from job sites.
- Track items from deconstruction for tracking in POS system.
- Other duties as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
