Serve as secretary to the building principal, assistant principals and assist in office administration.

Serve as a primary public relations representative.
3.
Screen callers, make appointments, and route incoming calls 4.
Provide information on school policies and regulations of varying complexity.
5.
Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information at all times.
6.
Determine and use the appropriate computer software for correspondence, records, office forms, reports, lists, instructional materials, etc.
7.
Compose various types of communications to parents, students, staff and the community from general instructions.
8.
Effectively and accurately perform all Skyward or Infinite Campus processes and functions in accordance with Best Practices.
9.
Use Infinite Campus to manage and process daily behavior referrals and suspension notices.
10.
Manage the Edficiency program daily for homeroom and W Hour flex time.
11.
Assist in student schedule changes as directed by administration.
12.
Collect data, maintain records, and prepare reports for the school.
13.
Establish and maintain computer and cumulative files.
14.
Create and maintain school website using Finalsite within the OASD guidelines.
15.
Assist with the preparation of materials and attendance rosters for substitute teachers.
16.
Operate a variety of office machines and supervise use by others.
17.
Assist with the maintenance of the electronic marquee sign and building usage requests.
18.
Complete requests for transcripts, work permits, education verifications and enrollments.
(During Summer months) 18.
Perform other duties as requested by school administration.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Participate in school programs, relevant meetings and activities.
2.
Participate in shared-decision making and continuous improvement work groups.
3.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS This is a typical office environment with standard office equipment and routine tasks.
Must be able to operate a computer terminal and telephone on a daily basis (requires repetitive use of hands and arms).
Qualifications 1.
Ability to key accurately at a rate of 65 wpm on keyboard preferred.
2.
High school diploma.
3.
Minimum of two years successful office or secretarial experience.
4.
Demonstrated proficiency in communication (speaking, listening, and writing), language, and mathematical skills.
5.
Ability to interact effectively with students, parents, staff and others encountered on the job.
6.
Ability to staff the position during all hours required within the business day.
7.
Computer knowledge and skill in word processing, database, spreadsheet programs, etc.
; and ability to adapt to word processing system in use.
8.
Ability to maintain accurate and complete records and prepare clear and detailed reports.
9.
Ability to make appropriate level decisions in absence of principal.
10.
Skyward, Infinite Campus and Google Drive/sites/Forms experience preferred.
11.
