Hours:
8 hours per day working 1st or 2nd shift.
Grounds keeping support will work 1st shift only May - October.

00pm) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.
Operate zero turn mower, 16' wing mower, trimers, and blowers.
2.
Able to drive and operate snow removal equipment and work as part of the district snow removal team.
3.
Able to tow, load, and unload zero turn from trailer.
4.
Able to engage district staff and the community in a positive and supportive capacity.
5.
Responsible for all janitorial responsibilities.
6.
Lead building custodial staff 7.
Perform boiler/heating system repairs.
8.
Promptly report any unsafe building maintenance.
9.
Make routine mechanical repairs (for example:
unit-vents, belts, bearings, filters, checking oil and compression).
10.
Make routine electrical repairs (for example:
light switches, plugs on cords, ballasts, and fuses on equipment).
11.
Operate refrigeration system - if school has one 12.
Inspect building and grounds for proper maintenance and cleaning, and for unsafe conditions.
13.
Assist with building fire drills, as needed.
14.
Assist with community, staff, parent, and student use of building.
15.
Operate energy management systems and adjust schedules.
16.
Follow asbestos management plan.
17.
Initiate work orders in a timely fashion.
18.
Perform test of fire alarm system.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Participate in team processes for continuous quality improvement.
2.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications 1.
Successfully be able to perform all janitorial responsibilities.
2.
Successful completion of Fireperson training or equivalent experience.
3.
Experience in the repair of minor mechanical and electrical items is preferred, but not required.
4.
Ability to operate motorized equipment (Mowers, blowers, trimmers, snow removal equipment).
5.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
