We are seeking the right individual join our personal injury legal team.
This person would be responsible for handling personal injury files from beginning to end including, gathering, requesting and organizing medical information on clients; assisting in drafting settlement demands to submit to insurance companies; scheduling conferences with doctors, experts, clients and other attorneys; participate in consistent client interaction; assist in drafting several legal documents; e-filing documents; scheduling court appearances; assisting the attorney in court and participating in trial prep work, along with other day-to-day duties.
This job requires an extremely high attention to detail.
The job further requires someone who works well in high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills as well as a proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Previous experience is helpful but not required.
This is a 40 hour per week position.
Hourly wage will start between $18-$22/hour based upon experience.
There is a 90-day probationary period, and wages will be re-assessed at that time for a raise based upon performance to date.
This position does not include health insurance but does offer generous vacation time and holiday time following a probationary period as well as eligibility in a 401K program.
However, this position, following a probationary period may open up the possibility for some remote work opportunities.
