Office assistants are part of Falcon Drilling & Blasting, Inc.
's supporting office staff, handling general office tasks and administrative duties such as data entry, inventory, and the filing of paperwork.
You will assist the office manager to ensure efficiency within our accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll departments.
Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the office manager Job costing/data entry with use of spreadsheets and accounting software Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner Receive and sort vendor invoices and statements, pursuing inconsistencies or issues Prepare payment checks Organize and maintain files and records Oversee and keep inventory of materials Experience/Requirements Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in an office role is preferred, but not required Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and independently manage time Familiarity using desktop office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of proper phone etiquette Starting wage is dependent on experience and will range between $18 and $23 per hour.
