- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks during winter weather conditions - Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other hand tools - Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow removal requests - Ensure safe operation of snow plow equipment and adherence to all safety protocols - Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning Skills:
- Experience in operating snow plow equipment and performing snow removal duties - Knowledge of proper techniques for clearing snow and ice from different surfaces - Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, ice scrapers, and salt spreaders - Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment - Strong physical stamina and ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time Note:
Additional skills in tree care, garden maintenance, groundskeeping, tree trimming, mowing, and digging may be beneficial but are not required for this specific position.
