Prior Credit Union experience preferred.
Responsibilities Perform a variety of activities to maintain financial and accounting records of the Credit Union Prepare, pay, and file accounts payable for the Credit Union.
Research and resolve discrepancies.
Process, post, and balance ACH transactions.
Prepare, post, and reconcile general ledger transactions for investment activity and schedules.
Assist members as required including debit and credit fraud.
Analyze and reconcile the general ledger for various accounts as assigned.
Review daily cash balances.
Research and adjust open items, cash imbalances, and variances.
Set up and run all prepaid and fixed asset items in the depreciation program.
Process bill pay and Share drafts.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Strong communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to listen and identify members' financial needs to better support their financial growth Problem-solve to make decisions, ability to take initiative, post general ledger transactions, balance accounts, intermediate computer skills, and maintain a courteous demeanor in a busy and challenging work environment Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and ability to collaborate with others Work 20 hours per week High school diploma or GED required Job Type:
