5 Quick Apply Full-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description ROLE OVERVIEW A Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance tasks to repair equipment and preserve the quality and appearance of the facility.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Days WHAT YOU GET TO DO Level 1:
Responsible for escalating door and gate security & food defense and safety issues.
Perform weekly inspections (compressor, chillers, HVAC, fire system, security) Perform weekly fire pump testing Responsible for handling any necessary repairs, such as fixing flooring, drywall, plaster, painting, and some masonry work.
Perform daily facility checks (HVAC operation, door inspections, fire system, security) Complete work orders and facility pm's (furnace filters, water filters, etc.
) Provides daily maintenance support for the facility, performs mechanical, electrical, and preventive (PM) maintenance functions.
Review all SDS's for chemicals prior to initial use.
Comply with all 5S and CI initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work).
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Ability to update and document of training.
Responsible for breakdown loss opportunities.
Ability to populate all daily WO/PM information into an electronic based system such as the current shift report or within an ERP system.
Responsible for troubleshooting both mechanically and electrically by having a working knowledge of mechanical components of equipment and how to repair.
Level 2:
Perform quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
Assist HVAC contractors with pm's and troubleshooting Assist with Air compressor pm's with contractors Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems.
Working knowledge of mechanical components of machines and how to repair, troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Proactively identify repeated breakdown loss opportunities.
Ability to mentor and train new technicians and Maintenance Trainees.
Ability to coordinate of LOTO plan relative to all of the requirements of Contractors, Maintenance, and Engineering.
The focus is to provide an efficient means of LOTO to aid contractors and maintenance working in an area together.
Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics Replace lighting, receptacles other electrical components WHAT WE VALUE Mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills Ability to use various hand tools, multi-meters & computers Detail oriented, well organized and able to function in a team environment under deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work in a team environment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU Working knowledge of facility equipment and preventative maintenance techniques General electrical knowledge (able to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical circuits) 2-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical facility maintenance and support systems preferred.
