NovaCare Prosthetics and Orthotics seeking a full-time Certified Orthotist for our clinics in Oshkosh & Fond du Lac, WI
$20,000 Bonus!
Our experienced and highly trained team is committed to working collaboratively with each patient to develop a plan of care that achieves individual goals in a safe, compassionate, and efficient manner. The ideal practitioner should be highly motivated and excited to manage a comprehensive and lucrative orthotic practice while providing patient assessment, treatment plans, follow-up care, and practice management. This position comes with a great opportunity to continue a well-developed orthotic business in-house, as well as grow an ongoing orthotic relationship with several local hospitals. The ideal practitioner will be a self-driven and motivated individual that can become a key player in an already dynamic team atmosphere.
American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics or completion of Residency in an Orthotics Program and board eligible to sit for exams are required to be considered for this opportunity.

Hours Needed: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Compensation: Salaried, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices related to patients' needs, as indicated by a physician. Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patient's need for orthotic/prosthetic services. Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for orthotic/prosthetic care. Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including but not limited to adequate follow-up with patients and physicians. Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure the widest range of flexibility and services offered. Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each patient. Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities. Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory and materials. Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market orthotics/prosthetics services and capabilities. Provides on-call services, as necessary. Recommends treatment options to physicians, when necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university from a recognized Orthotics and Prosthetics school.
American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in providing orthotic services under the supervision of a certified practitioner.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
